Women. i can speak from experience that women are the main thing that made me feel insecure about my own self when i was younger(before you tell me i had no reason to be insecure, or blame it on patriarchy, i had a reason to be insecure, i was only made fun of by women in middle school, be it other girls or grown women, for being the only kid with a white mother in a black school, now mind you, these where only FEMALES trying to make me feel like shit for being mixed race), and seeing that insecurity can only be acceptable if it happens the other way around is fucking crazy.

The gender discussion is virtually monopolized by these people who aren’t afraid to interrupt and derail any open discussion about gender issues, instead reframing any male gender issue as an attack on their own political affiliation or the female gender. Make note of that, any gender discussion outside of their own movement is seen as a threat to be stamped out. And those same people wonder why and how the growing and equally as irritating men’s rights movement has seemingly appeared out of no where.
Some men find no solution for their gender specific problems in existing gender support and advocacy groups because their problems are always always put off as unimportant, mockworthy (as seen above) or simply some sinister plot to undermine “legitimate” issues. If they protest and try to make space for their problems in the discussion, they are told to fuck off as “the rest of the world is a mens support group”. In reaction, those insecure men take their ball and make their own gender equality group to talk out and solve male problems. So now you have really loud and irritating MRAs and Feminists flinging shit at each other attempting to tear the other person down through questionable cherry picked statistics wrestling rather than working to understand the other side and, you know, do some good.
